Local lad Kevin Carey comes from a family of five, 3 girls and two boys. Kevin owns and operates a reliable and professional bus for hire service which is based in Daingean . He was previously employed at Tom Darcy Tyre Service, Mount Lucas, working there for 5 years prior to starting his own business.
Kevin saw the need in the local area for a service to get people home safely from their night out or local event. He has been in operation for the past 3 years. Being a positive and caring person Kevin is a real ‘people person’ and offers a friendly and efficient service.
Carey’s Bus Hire offers services for Airport runs, Stags/Hens, GAA or soccer matches, Weddings, Pubs/Clubs and all other major events..The farthest distance Kevin has travelled was to Letterkenny, Donegal. In his expansion plans he is determined to meet the level of demands and also plans to do school runs.
Having a laugh with a group of hens is all part of the service for Kevin.
Carey’s Bus Hire kindly sponsored the Daingean Mini Maroons in a skills competition at the end of their summer tournament. (Pic Below) Supporting the local clubs is a great way to be part of the community and a great way to say thank you. Thank you to all the locals who have encouraged and supported Kevin in his venture.
If you don’t see Kevin on the road in his bus you might see him on the road cycling or running. Keeping fit and staying healthy is important to Kevin, not just for personal wellness but also for safety reasons as the driver of the bus. Passenger safety is paramount and he works hard behind the scenes to provide this.
Kevin enjoys what he does, especially on a Saturday night when everyone’s spirits are high and they are all having fun. He provides safe travel home and to him time doesn’t matter whether it be 12.p.m or 5.a.m, he’ll do it!! So whether you are a low carbon non car driver or out for a good but safe time, Kevin can be contacted at Carey’s Bus Hire 0852110111 or find him on facebook.
